Maredith Management is an active member of the Community Associations
Institute (CAI), a national nonprofit organization created in 1974
to educate and represent community managers and other industry professionals.
All Maredith community managers must achieve and maintain designations
as a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association
Management Specialist (AMS) through CAI. These certifications demonstrate
that our managers have the knowledge and experience necessary to manage
any type of community association, as well as a commitment to professional
development in this unique field. The maintenance of these certifications
requires participation in a variety of continuing education programs.
30% of our managers have achieved their PCAM certification, which
is the final step in CAI certification known as Professional Community
Association Manager. This certification requires at least five years
of experience and extensive course work, culminating in an intensive
case study. Maredith Management requires and funds all training and
certification costs.
Maredith Management’s clientele is comprised of associations
and condominiums encompassing more than 12,000 units Charles, Prince
Georges, and St. Mary’s Counties.
