candice Vincent T.Oliva, CMCA, AMS, PCAM
President & COO
Community Association Manager

Vinny has been involved in Community Association Management in different capacities since 1994. He began as a Recreation Director in large-scale seasonal Community Associations in Northeast Pennsylvania (Poconos), and later became a portfolio manager specializing in large scale Communities in October 2000. He was promoted to the Director of Community Management in 2002, and is currently the President & Chief Operating Officer of Maredith, serving in that capacity since June 2005. He is an active member of CAI both nationally and locally. On a national level, he has attained the CMCA, AMS, and PCAM designations, and has attended various National Conferences and Expositions. Locally, with the Washington Metropolitan Chapter, he has served on various committees and is a member of the Recruiter Club. He is a co-instructor of the ABCs Course and proctor for the M-100 Home Study Exam, and has volunteered time, and aided the efforts of several successful programs including a Board Orientation Training Seminar for newly elected Board Members. He is licensed and certified to practice Community Association Management in Maryland, Florida and California, and holds a Certified Pool Operator (CPO®) certification from the National Swimming Pool Foundation. He was recognized with the 2002 Rising Star Award from the Washington Metropolitan Chapter.

Vinny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

candice Megan C. Quinn

Vice President

Megan monitors client satisfaction by communicating with board members and addressing issues that effect client satisfaction. She also assesses the quality of management and the efficiency of Maredith’s delivery of services in general. In addition, Megan is responsible for the constant evaluation of management techniques and the maintenance of Maredith Management’s high standard of providing the best possible service to our clients. Megan has worked in the Property Management industry since 2001. In 2006 she received her M-100 exam certificate from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Her enthusiasm for the industry is invaluable to the Maredith team.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of Maryland, College Park.

candice Brent Quinn

Vice President

Brent Quinn officially joined Maredith Management in February of 2009. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, to include experience specific to community association management as he has assisted the Maredith team seasonally since 2001. Brent is responsible for maintaining Maredith Management’s standard of providing the best service to our clients. His primary focus is Maredith Management's accounting department.

Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in French from American University, Washington D.C.

Associate Community Manager

Jason currently serves as an Associate Community Manager to several neighborhood associations managed by Maredith Management’s President, Vincent T. Oliva, CMCA, AMS, PCAM. Upon successful completion of the M-100 course offered through Community Associations Institute (CAI) Jason will achieve the designation of a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). Jason was born and raised in Waldorf, Maryland and lives in a Maredith managed community. Outside of the workplace, Jason maintains a Real Estate license and participates in organizations raising political awareness.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park..

candice Cynthia Johnson, CMCA
Community Association Manager

As a Community Manager for Maredith Management Company Cindy brings over 27 years of experience working in St. Charles. She served as a member of many St. Charles neighborhood associations and their committees for architecture and aesthetics. Her knowledge of the community will prove to be invaluable. Having lived in Charles County for most of her life, Cindy is active with the Charles County Arts Alliance and the Port Tobacco Players. She is also the President of the Maryland Community Theatre Festival Association and the Eastern States Theatre
Association.

Margo Wells
Customer Service Associate & Community Center Administrator

Margo brings a wealth of knowledge to the customer service department and serves as a Customer Service Associate and as the Community Center Administrator where she is responsible for booking all of the center rentals and ensuring that the centers are fully inspected after each event. Margo recently moved to the area and resides in St. Mary's County. Margo's positive and friendly demeanor have proven to be most effective in assisting our clients and she is a great addition to the Maredith Team!

Stephanie Wyatt
Administrative Assistant

Stephanie serves as an administrative assistant to the Maredith Management Community Managers. Stephanie performs administrative and office support activities for multiple managers. She relieves management of administrative detail, coordinates work flow, keeps projects on schedule, composes correspondence/reports, researches and drafts reports, and takes initiative in manager’s absence. Stephanie resides in a Maredith managed community here in Waldorf.  She is an invaluable member of the Maredith Team!

Customer Service Associate

Sarah brings over 5 years of experience to Maredith in Property Management and has been with the Maredith Team for over two years! When she is not working she enjoys cross-stitching and spending time with friends and family. The Maredith Team and the clients of Maredith Management are truly fortunate to have Sarah working for them, for her refreshing demeanor and ambitious attitude make her a pleasure to work with.

Sarah has attained the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation through Community Associations Institute (CAI).

Cusomter Service Associate

Claudia brings 35+ years of Title Insurance experience to our customer service department. Claudia was a Charles County resident for 27 years and now resides in St. Mary's County. Currently a member in the Southern Maryland Woman's League (SMWL) and has been involved in many other charitable organizations and fund raising events to benefit Charles and St. Mary's counties. Claudia enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren & vacationing with her husband.

As a Customer Service Representative at Maredith Management, Claudia faces one of the most challenging jobs in this office and welcomes it with a smile. She is responsible for all inbound calls and qualifying and channeling issues to the correct department.

buddyBuddy Killebrew
Accounting

Buddy brings over 20 years of experience in accounting to Maredith Management and his acute attention to detail prove him to be an invaluable member of the Maredith Team. As Accounts Payable Administrator, Buddy processes the approved invoices for each association and issues checks to the assigned vendors. Other duties include, posting homeowners association dues, pool and guest pass checks, assessment certificates, settlement sheets, reconciling bank statements and financial statements.

Buddy was born in Washington, D.C. and has lived in both Prince George’s and now Charles County for over 40 years. When he isn’t at work he enjoys watching his son’s baseball games at St. Mary’s College and traveling.

buddyLeah M. Shrirley
Accounting Administrative Assistant

Leah is an Administrative Assistant to the Accounting Department. Some of her duties include processing resale packages and demand letters, performing database updates, processing late notices and reconciling bank accounts. We are delighted to welcome Leah to the Maredith Team and the Accounting Department specifically enjoys her enthusiasm when it comes to the details! Outside of work, Leah is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Beta Sigma honor societies. She has been involved in the equestrian community and competing in horse shows since 1999 and loves to bake.

Leah holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree from Salisbury University.

jimJim Romano
Inspector

Jim brings a wealth of experience to Maredith Management, with 15 years of real estate experience, 20 years in retail, customer service and accounting and 40 years in rental property management. In addition to his experience in the field he was also in the United States Navy for 23 years as a Chief Warrant Officer (Meteorology). Jim is the Chapter President for the Naval Weather Services Association, and a member of the Charles County Kiwanis Club and Military Officers Association of America. For Jim the best part about his job is helping people keep their communities safe and well maintained. He lives in a Maredith managed association and understands the importance of the service he provides. When Jim isn’t inspecting the beautiful properties our clients reside in he is traveling, playing golf, visiting friends and family and playing Texas Hold’em Poker.

candice Nathaniel Poon
Clubhouse Manager

Nathaniel Poon is the clubhouse administrator for the Heritage at St. Charles, an active adult community. He received his degree in Marketing from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Mr. Poon served as Executive Director for the Housing Authority of Cambridge Maryland before moving to the Washington metropolitan area. He brings over 35 years experience in housi ng management to his position. Mr. Poon is always smiling. He says “every day is a gift and you must live it to its fullest.” This positive attitude is what makes Mr. Poon the perfect match for his position. Mr. Poon resides in a Maredith managed community.
