candice Vincent T.Oliva, CMCA, AMS, PCAM
President & COO
Community Association Manager

Vinny has been involved in Community Association Management in different capacities since 1994. He began as a Recreation Director in large-scale seasonal Community Associations in Northeast Pennsylvania (Poconos), and later became a portfolio manager specializing in large scale Communities in October 2000. He was promoted to the Director of Community Management in 2002, and is currently the President & Chief Operating Officer of Maredith, serving in that capacity since June 2005. He is an active member of CAI both nationally and locally. On a national level, he has attained the CMCA, AMS, and PCAM designations, and has attended various National Conferences and Expositions. Locally, with the Washington Metropolitan Chapter, he has served on various committees and is a member of the Recruiter Club. He is a co-instructor of the ABCs Course and proctor for the M-100 Home Study Exam, and has volunteered time, and aided the efforts of several successful programs including a Board Orientation Training Seminar for newly elected Board Members. He is licensed and certified to practice Community Association Management in Maryland, Florida and California, and holds a Certified Pool Operator (CPO®) certification from the National Swimming Pool Foundation. He was recognized with the 2002 Rising Star Award from the Washington Metropolitan Chapter.

Vinny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

candice Megan C. Quinn
Vice President of Development & Community Relations

As Maredith Management’s Vice President of Development & Community Relations, Megan monitors client satisfaction by communicating with board members and assessing their spoken and unspoken needs and issues that effect their satisfaction, as well as Maredith Management’s efficiency in their delivery of services and quality of management in general. In addition to those duties, Megan is responsible for the constant assessment of management techniques and maintaining Maredith Management’s standard of providing the best service to our clients. Megan has grown up in this business and has worked part time as seasonal staff while finishing school. In 2006 Megan completed the M-100 course exam through Community Associations Institute (CAI). Her enthusiasm for the industry has kept her coming back each year and we are delighted to now have her apart of the Maredith Team full time!

Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of Maryland, College Park.

candice Beverley Lahman
Community Center Administrtor
Customer Service Director
Executive Manager

Beverley has been working in the customer service industry for 25+ years and has been apart of the Maredith Team for two years. Her liveliness, passion, and dedication to the Maredith Team and our clients are invaluable. As Customer Service Director Beverley oversees all of the duties in our Customer Service Department and is responsible for training the Customer Service Representatives. During the pool season Beverley manages the center staff, center rentals and pool pass administering. And throughout the year she is an Executive Assistant to Maredith Management’s CEO & Owner, Candice Q. Kelly. She is a resident of the Charles County area and is a member of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Zonta International, and Southern Maryland Women’s League (SMWL). Beverley’s knowledge, skill set and experience are among our most valuable assets at Maredith. Beverley says that the best thing about her job is when she can assist homeowners to achieve a positive outcome!

candice Sarah Perry, CMCA
Community Association Manager

As a Maredith Management Community Association Manager, Sarah serves as a community manager for a portfolio of neighborhood associations. Professional managers provide administrative, operational and managerial counsel to community association boards. They are responsible for managing budgets and contractors, directing association personnel and overseeing compliance with association covenants and restrictions. Sarah brings over 5 years of experience to Maredith in Property Management. When she is not working she enjoys cross-stitching and spending time with friends and family. The Maredith Team and the clients of Maredith Management are truly fortunate to have Sarah working for them, for her refreshing demeanor and ambitious attitude make her a pleasure to work with.

Sarah has attained the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation through Community Associations Institute (CAI).

candiceRachael Fuese
Assistant Community Manager

As an Assistant Community Manager at Maredith Management, Rachael is a true team player. Rachael serves as an asssitant to the community managers for a portfolio of neighborhood associations. Rachael brings 11 years of experience in Customer Service to Maredith. Her ability to learn quickly and her positive attitude energize the Maredith Team daily.

Rachael is originally from Lancaster, PA but has been a resident of the Southern Maryland area for about 20 years. When she isn’t at work she can be found playing with her daughter and spending time with family.

Rachael is currently working to complete certification courses offered through the Community Association Institute (CAI).

buddyBuddy Killebrew
Accounting

Buddy brings over 20 years of experience in accounting to Maredith Management and his acute attention to detail prove him to be an invaluable member of the Maredith Team. As Accounts Payable Administrator, Buddy processes the approved invoices for each association and issues checks to the assigned vendors. Other duties include, posting homeowners association dues, pool and guest pass checks, assessment certificates, settlement sheets, reconciling bank statements and financial statements.

Buddy was born in Washington, D.C. and has lived in both Prince George’s and now Charles County for over 40 years. When he isn’t at work he enjoys watching his son’s baseball games at St. Mary’s College and traveling.

candicePaula Bennett
Accounting

Paula has been a member of the Maredith Accounting Team since 2003 and brings over 25 years of experience in accounting to Maredith Management. Paula’s unique excitement for balancing accounts and working with figures makes her an invaluable asset to the Maredith Team. As a Maredith Accounts Receivable Administrator, Paula processes settlement sheets, assessment certificates, legal referrals, and posts payments. Paula enjoys the legal aspect of her job most and learning about Maryland law. She says she has worked with some terrific people over the years at Maredith and has met some really nice homeowners. Paula was born in Front Royal Virginia, and is a transplant to the Southern Maryland area; she has resided here for about 27 years. When Paula isn’t at work she enjoys reading, crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her son Roger. Paula is a proud mother, and happy to have her son home safe. Roger is a United States Marine and served one tour of duty in Iraq in 2004 and served on the USS Iwo Jima. He is currently in the Marine Corp. active reserves until July 2009. Paula and the rest of the Maredith Team express our support and thanks for our troops. “God Bless America!”

jimJim Romano
Inspector

Jim brings a wealth of experience to Maredith Management, with 15 years of real estate experience, 20 years in retail, customer service and accounting and 40 years in rental property management. In addition to his experience in the field he was also in the United States Navy for 23 years as a Chief Warrant Officer (Meteorology). Jim is the Chapter President for the Naval Weather Services Association, and a member of the Charles County Kiwanis Club and Military Officers Association of America. For Jim the best part about his job is helping people keep their communities safe and well maintained. He lives in a Maredith managed association and understands the importance of the service he provides. When Jim isn’t inspecting the beautiful properties our clients reside in he is traveling, playing golf, visiting friends and family and playing Texas Hold’em Poker.

candiceKim Patrick
Customer Service

Kim has been working in Customer Service in different capacities since 1986. She has been recognized as a professional listener by the University of Maryland and participated in listening research conducted by the University’s School of Communication. Originally from Roanoke, VA she moved to Southern Maryland two years ago and resides in an association managed by Maredith Management. When she is not at work she enjoys taking care of her nieces and nephews, spending time with her daughter and working at the Children’s Ministry at her Church. Kim says that the most rewarding part of her job is helping to solve a customer’s problem and watching them leave the office with a smile on their face. She assures homeowners that “everything will be alright!”

Customer Service

As a Customer Service Representative at Maredith Management, Claudia faces one of the most challenging jobs in this office and welcomes it with a smile. She is responsible for all inbound calls and qualifying and channeling issues to the correct department.
